BC Eagles “clock” No. 15 Florida State, 28-13

Despite and 0-1 record, Florid a State remained No. 10 heading into Week 2. The BC Eagles landed in Tallahassee and demonstrated that not only are they a better team this year than the Seminoles, but that they can possibly challenge for the ACC title. HC Bill O’Brien brings some much-needed aggressiveness and offensive balance to the program. They will be fun to watch this season.

Duke Blue Devils struggle past Elon Phoenix, 26-3; Defense dominates

Duke introduced new Head Coach Manny Diaz at his first home game at Wallace Wade Stadium (our first also). His defense dominated FCS the Elon Phoenix. Their tough defense and errant passes by first-year QB Maalik Murphy caused his Blue Devils to struggle, but in the end they won 26-3.

Bachmeier, Morin pace Wake Forest past NC A&T, 45-13

Wake Forest started off slowly against NC A&T and FCS program this past Friday. Even trailed 10-7 in second period. QB Hank Bachmeier brought rhythm to the offense and Taylor Morin provided electricity to take the lead and win the game, 45-13.
