College football analyst Steve Koreivo gives Spadora the details of his unique blueprint to structure a 24-team College Football Playoff (CFP) by restructuring the entire Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) by proposing to divide the division into two tiers, “FBS-I” and “FBS-II,” featuring 64 programs in the top tier playing specialized regional schedules. To accommodate the larger bracket without adding games to the calendar, Koreivo’s plan eliminates traditional conference championship games in favor of a uniform “Tie-Breaker Week”. This system ensures parity and clear on-field results, ultimately qualifying the top three teams from eight newly aligned regions to compete for the national title.
