Florida State won its opener at home over New Mexico State, 34-17. However, the Seminoles seem to realize they need to learn from of their miscues in preparation for ACC foe No. 19 SMU next Monday night.

Despite and 0-1 record, Florid a State remained No. 10 heading into Week 2. The BC Eagles landed in Tallahassee and demonstrated that not only are they a better team this year than the Seminoles, but that they can possibly challenge for the ACC title. HC Bill O’Brien brings some much-needed aggressiveness and offensive balance to the program. They will be fun to watch this season.
